1. When will my job(s) be approved?

Few job approval decisions can take up to 1 day due to a delay in being able to verify your account. The delay is generally caused by multiple reasons:

  • Most likely, we could not find any document uploaded to your account on employer.apna.co for account verification purposes.
  • We are awaiting an email confirmation at review@apna.co with a critical piece of information from your end.
  • Maybe there are a large number of jobs awaiting approval in the queue before your job(s).

2. Which documents can I submit for verification of my account?

If you are a business owner, you can submit a soft copy of one of the following documents:

  • GST certificate
  • MSME registration certificate
  • Udyog Aadhar
  • FSSAI license
  • Shop & Establishment license
  • Any other government-recognized company document

Please note: The company name on the document should match with the company name in the job posting.

If you are an employee of the company, then you can submit one of the following as proof of your employment:

  1. An active corporate email address
  2. Offer letter
  3. A copy of your corporate ID card in PDF format only

The fastest way for you to submit your documents to us is to upload your documents from your account on employer.apna.co. Alternatively, if your requirement is not urgent then you can send your documents to us:

  1. Login to employer.apna.co with your registered mobile number.
  2. Click on your name in the top right-hand corner.
  3. Click on Profile.
  4. Under the Company Verification heading
    • Choose the document you want to upload.
    • Enter the document number.
    • Upload a soft copy of the document.

5. I have already uploaded my documents; When will my job(s) be approved?

6. Why was my job deleted?

We have strict account and job verification processes in place. We send you notifications via WhatsApp/SMS for every action we take on your job. You would likely have already received the reason for the deletion of your job.

7. How do I reactivate the job(s) that I had already posted?

  1. Login to employer.apna.co with your registered mobile number.
  2. Select the job that you want to reactivate from your list of posted jobs.
  3. Click on the Reactivate job” button.

8. Why am I not able to reactivate my job?

We do not allow employers to reactivate their job(s) for one or more of the following reasons:

  • Your job has received enough applications.
  • You may not be replying to communication from job seekers.
  • Several candidates have complained about the job(s) you have posted.

9. Is job posting compulsory for hiring from apna? How do I post my job?

Posting a job is the most effective way to hire on apna. You can post a job in 4 simple steps:

  • Log into the employer dashboard with your mobile number at employer.apna.co
  • Click on Post a Job and fill in basic job criteria
  • Add the skills and assets required for the job, if any and your job description
  • Agree to our employer’s code of conduct and click on Finish and post.

10. In which cities can I post my jobs on apna?

We are available only in 10 cities - Mumbai, Pune, Delhi-NCR, Bengaluru, Ahmedabad, Jaipur, Kolkata, Surat, Hyderabad and Ranchi 🙂. You can post your job in any of these cities.

1. Why am I not getting (enough) applications?

There are various reasons why your job(s) might not be receiving (enough) applications. Following are a few of our suggestions on what you can do about the same.

  • Beat the market competition.
    • Offer better salary and overall compensation package.
    • Ensure your business has a Website, LinkedIn, Facebook, Instagram page etc.
    • Mention 1-2 lines about your company in your job description.
    • Let the candidate know why your company is special.
  • Relax the screening criteria.
    • Reduce the educational and/or experience qualification for your job.
    • Select only 1 or 2 skills tags that matter the most.
    • Provide a lower English level.

2. How can I update or edit my job(s)?

  1. Login to employer.apna.co with your registered mobile number.
  2. Select the job that you want to update or edit from your list of posted jobs.
  3. Click on the Edit job button to make the necessary changes.

3. How can I deactivate my job(s)?

  1. Login to employer.apna.co with your registered mobile number.
  2. Select the job that you want to deactivate from your list of posted jobs.
  3. Click on the Expire job button to deactivate your job.

4. How do I check the candidates who have applied for my job(s)?

  1. Login to employer.apna.co with your registered mobile number.
  2. Select the job for which you want to check the applications from your list of posted jobs.
  3. Click on the Applied tab to see the list of candidates who have applied to your jobs.

5. Why am I not getting the right applications?

There are various reasons why your job(s) might not be getting the right applications. Following are a few of our suggestions on what you can do about the same.

  • Choose the right skills or assets or education degree tags in your job: You can choose up to 4 such tags for each job. Our system will automatically ask each job seeker self-assessment questions based on your chosen tags. Only after passing the questions will job seekers be able to apply to your job(s).
  • Choose the correct gender in your job: You can accept applications from males only, females only or from both genders.
  • Choose the correct application radius in your job: You can accept applications within a 10 km or 25km radius or the entire city.

If you want us to screen candidates for a certain industry experience, experience range in doing a certain role or age, please mention in the job description and inform our team member at the time of account verification. We will add custom screening questions to your job.

6. Can I get direct walk-ins or resumes or search access?

Generally speaking, we do not assist employers with direct walk-ins, resumes or search access. We may do this in the future. Currently, candidates can directly apply for the jobs you post on apna and contact you and then you can invite them for walk-ins or ask them to send you their resumes. We are building search capability for you to be able to search in the applied candidates’ list for a particular job that you posted.

7. Why am I not getting the OTP?

Check and confirm whether you have been getting other transaction-related OTPs on your mobile number. If not then please contact your network provider. However, if you are getting other OTPs then follow the below steps, in order, and check for OTP after each step.

  • Trigger an OTP from employer.apna.co and then check your SMS app folders for blocked or spam or unread messages.
  • Put your phone on flight mode, turn off the flight mode and then trigger the OTP again.
  • Switch off your phone, switch it on and then trigger the OTP again.
  • Remove your SIM card from your phone, insert it again and then trigger the OTP again.
  • Trigger OTP from another device on your number. Example: your friend’s phone.

8. I want to post a job without revealing the name of the company. Is that possible?

We want to build a community based on trust and transparency. All users of our platform need to share accurate and updated information. During your job post, if you do not share vital information - like the name of the company, your job is less likely to be approved.

9. Can I do bulk-hiring through apna?

We understand that the frontline workforce for large enterprises are large in number and need to be hired fast. apna is built to help you hire fast in large numbers. We facilitate bulk-hiring in record-time by ensuring that our AI-based algorithm provides a high inbound applicant volume, as per the requirements provided by you.

10. Why is my access to apna blocked?
