Job Description
Nursing staff are responsible for providing continuous patient care, monitoring patient conditions, maintaining medical records, and ensuring patient safety and comfort throughout their hospital stay.
- Key ResponsibilitiesProvide 24×7 nursing care to admitted patients.
- Monitor and record vital signs (BP, Pulse, Temperature, Respiratory Rate, SpO₂).
- Administer medications, injections, IV fluids, and treatments as prescribed by doctors.
- Assist doctors during rounds, procedures, and emergencies.
- Maintain accurate nursing notes and patient records.
- Observe and promptly report any changes in patient condition.
- Perform wound dressing and basic bedside procedures as instructed.
- Ensure infection control practices and maintain cleanliness of patient care areas.
- Assist patients with activities of daily living, mobility, feeding, and personal hygiene.
- Educate patients and attendants regarding treatment plans and post-discharge care.
- Coordinate with doctors, physiotherapists, laboratory staff, and other healthcare professionals.
- Handle emergency situations and provide basic life support when required.
