JOB DESCRIPTION FOR JUNIOR ACCOUNTANT CUM ADMINISTRATOR We are searching for a motivated junior accountant cum administrator to manage routine accounting work on Tally. You will be a member of a group of experts that are tasked with keeping the company's finances organised and transparent. Our main administrative duties include maintaining personnel records, managing HR documents (e.g. employment records and on boarding guides) and updating internal databases. A fresher or a minimum 1-year experienced candidate, who is passionate and driven about accounting and administration, is welcomed to our team. Responsibilities: ● Supports company operations by maintaining office systems and supervising staff. ● Maintains office services by organizing office operations and procedures, preparing payroll, controlling correspondence, designing filing systems, reviewing and approving supply requisitions, and assigning and monitoring clerical functions. ● Completes operational requirements by scheduling and assigning employees and following up on work results. ● Keeps management informed by reviewing and analysing special reports, summarizing information, and identifying trends. ● Maintains office staff job results and disciplining employees, and planning, monitoring, and appraising job results. ● Achieves financial objectives by preparing an annual budget, scheduling expenditures, analysing variances, and initiating corrective actions. ● Post and process journal entries to ensure all business transactions are recorded ● Update accounts receivable and issue invoices ● Update accounts payable and performs reconciliations ● Assist in the processing of balance sheets, income statements and other financial statements according to legal and company accounting and financial guidelines ● Assist with reviewing expenses, payroll records etc. as assigned ● Update financial data in databases to ensure that information will be accurate and immediately available when needed ● Prepare and submit weekly/monthly/yearly reports ● Assist with other works or projects at free time Qualifications: B.Com/M.Com Skills Required: ● Well-Versed with the Internet especially email. ● Outstanding ability to think creatively and strategically, identify, and resolve problems. ● Excellent Research Skills. ● Proficiency in English. Add on advantage if Hindi and Gujarati are known. ● Proficiency in Tally, Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
