Accounts Manager

The Accounts Manager will be responsible for managing comprehensive accounting functions, ensuring timely and accurate filing of IT returns, tax returns, and other government-related submissions. This role also involves generating reliable financial reports, maintaining thorough bookkeeping, and analyzing project cost centers for profitability. The Accounts Manager will play a key role in providing financial insights and reports to management regularly.

Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare, review, and file all Income Tax Returns and ensure compliance with statutory tax filings and other government-related returns in a timely manner.
• Oversee the proper maintenance of accounting records and bookkeeping to ensure accuracy and completeness.
• Generate detailed financial reports, including balance sheets, profit and loss statements, cash flow reports, and project cost center analyses.
• Monitor and analyze the profitability of various project cost centers, providing insights and recommendations for improvement.
• Coordinate with auditors and regulatory authorities during audits and inspections.
• Ensure adherence to company financial policies and procedures.
• Perform regular reconciliations of accounts to maintain accuracy.
• Collaborate with management by providing timely financial reports to facilitate informed decision-making.
• Keep abreast of changes in financial regulations and tax laws to ensure company compliance.
• Support budgeting and forecasting activities as required.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
• Proven experience in accounts management, taxation, and financial reporting.
• Strong knowledge of Income Tax, GST, and other tax regulations.
• Proficiency in accounting software and MS Excel.
• Detail-oriented with excellent analytical, organizational, and communication skills.
• Ability to meet deadlines and work under pressure.
• Experience in project cost analysis and profitability tracking.
