Cashier Job Responsibilities: • Greets customer as they arrive at the store counter. • Handle cash transaction between customer and retail store. • Receives and processes all payments according to standard procedures. • Scan products operate scanning equipment and fix scanning issues. • Process cash, credit and debit cards helping customers use processing equipment’s. Count money back to customer in an accurate and concise manner. • Examine products being purchased for damages and price check. • Resolve escalated issues with angry customers. • Help stock Shelves in proximity of cash register. • Complete, process, and maintain applicable paperwork and records. • Count the cash in the drawer at the end of the day ensuring cash equals receipts. • Enthusiastic, friendly, and energetic with a genuine desire to provide outstanding service.
