Job Description
Role - Facility Manager • Monitoring the joint operations of warehouse & hub (receiving, material handling, stacking and dispatch) • Own the business processes and metrics for the respective facility • Maintain cost per kilo (CPK) as planned and analyse things from the profit and loss mindset to save cost to the company • Establish processes for measuring, tracking, and driving continuous improvements & work with various teams (e.g. BD, Planning, Systems etc) to help drive tools and process improvements • Track to ensure the orders arrive and are dispatched on time and to proper destinations • Leading, motivating, training and developing the staff • Drive a culture of quality and process excellence to attain better performance • Coordinate racking and storing of the products as per the approved SOP • Ensures that the inventory is at an appropriate level and meets both internal and external requirements • Provides guidance on inventory management for a specific product group or locations • Resolve conflicts that arises in the day to day operations • Ensuring Compliance with all Health and safety regulations • Responsible for the disciplinary and grievance procedures • Train all the new joiners and help them grow in the system Preferred Skills: • Proven experience as a Supply Chain Professional • Familiarity with supply chain processes (e.g. Inventory planning/control, Warehouse management & Operations, FM, LM, Transportation etc.) • Good knowledge of Excel, MS Office (basic reporting and presentation tools) • Analytical mind, Problem-solving approach • Attention to detail
