Job Description
As a Real Estate Legal Executive, your primary role is to provide legal guidance and support for all real estate transactions and activities within the organization. This includes ensuring compliance with relevant laws and regulations, drafting and reviewing legal documents, and handling any legal issues that may arise in the course of real estate operations. Your expertise in real estate law will contribute to the smooth and legally sound functioning of the company's real estate portfolio. Key Responsibilities: 1 Legal Compliance: Stay abreast of local, state, and federal real estate laws and regulations. Ensure all real estate transactions and activities comply with applicable legal requirements. 2 Document Drafting and Review: Draft, review, and negotiate a variety of real estate-related documents, including contracts, agreements, leases, and deeds. Ensure that all legal documents accurately reflect the intentions of the parties involved and comply with legal standards. 3 Due Diligence: Conduct legal due diligence on potential real estate transactions. Identify and assess legal risks and provide recommendations to mitigate such risks. 4 Title Examination: Oversee title examination processes to ensure clear and marketable title for real estate assets. Resolve any title issues that may arise during the transaction process. 5 Dispute Resolution: Handle legal disputes related to real estate, including landlord-tenant issues, property disputes, and contract disagreements. Work towards amicable resolutions and, if necessary, represent the company in legal proceedings. 6 Legal Advisory: Provide legal advice to internal stakeholders on real estate matters, including development projects, property management, and regulatory compliance. Collaborate with other departments to ensure legal considerations are integrated into business decisions. 7 Contract Management: Manage and maintain a repository of real estate-related contracts and agreements. Ensure compliance with contractual obligations and initiate legal action when necessary. 8 Collaboration with External Legal Counsel: Coordinate with external legal counsel when required, ensuring alignment with organizational goals and objectives. Qualifications and Requirements: Proven experience in real estate law, with a focus on commercial and residential transactions. Strong analytical, research, and problem-solving skills. Excellent communication and negotiation abilities. Attention to detail and the ability to work under pressure. Familiarity with real estate industry practices and trends. The Real Estate Legal Executive plays a vital role in safeguarding the legal interests of the company in real estate matters .
