Job Description

Responsibilities of candidates include: Job Duties: • Taking requirement from all department. • Planning of order as per requirements. • Coordinate with Purchase Head for placing order to supplier • Receiving material from supplier- checking quantity as per order. • Issue the required material to the respective department as per the indent received from them. • Storage of material at proper place and ensure its easy access identification, verification, handling, maintenance etc to avoid any damage or loss. • Ensure all safety measures are in place in the stores. • Physical verification of material by checking quality, quantity and all other specifications. • Keeping material at proper place to maintain FIFO method. In case of any variance, be accountable for the same and ensure there are no variances in respect of physical stock and in the system. • Preparing GRN though system by following 3 following methods: • Receiving Bay • Quality Check • Purchase Receipt • Maintain the stores in a neat and tidy condition at all times. • Stock the materials in proper manner in the appropriate location code number-wise and category-wise. • Carry out periodical physical verification and asses the stock position. • Coordinate for purchase order for smooth supply from suppliers. • Receive, check and monitor the goods supplied by the supplier for quantity and quality as per the order specifications and stock in an appropriate location. • Check the indents for correctness in all aspects and issue the supplies/return the ident suitably. • Ensure that verification of stocks is done at the closing hours daily. • Checking of bills in respect to Challan, quantity, and rates. • Ensure follow-ups regarding replenishment of stocks. • Control and monitor scrap and surplus acceptance, disposal and salvaging. • Responsible for Internal stock movement between production and warehouse for the issue and receipt/clearance, daily receipt and check points of inventory. • Responsible for all stocks : raw materials, finished goods and engineering goods. • Responsible for warehousing of stocks. • Maintain proper records of Inward and outward checklist. • Ensure that all job-work related documents are in place and up-to date. • Coordinate with transporter and arrangement of transport and its planning. • Once a shipment arrives, check and verify the conditions of raw materials received. • For finished goods, verify the same with transporter & obtain driver signature when material is loaded. • Maintain proper records of Inward checklist and outward checklist. • Control and monitor warehouse wastage and its disposal. • Responsible for the disposal of scrap from the factory.
