Job Title: Telesales Representative - Residential Solar

Overview: We are seeking a motivated Telesales Representative specializing in residential solar solutions to join our expanding team. This role involves reaching out to homeowners via telephone to educate them about the benefits of solar energy and to secure appointments for our solar consultants.

Responsibilities:

  • Contact homeowners by telephone to introduce our residential solar offerings.
  • Educate potential customers on the environmental and financial benefits of solar energy.
  • Qualify leads based on their interest, energy consumption, and roof suitability.
  • Schedule appointments for our solar consultants to conduct detailed assessments.
  • Follow up with leads to nurture relationships and move them through the sales pipeline.
  • Maintain accurate and detailed records of all interactions and sales activities in the CRM system.
  • Achieve weekly/monthly sales targets and KPIs.
  • Collaborate with the solar sales team to optimize strategies and achieve collective goals.
  • Stay updated on industry trends, solar technology advancements, and incentives.

Requirements:

  • Proven experience in telesales or a similar sales role, preferably in solar or renewable energy.
  • Excellent communication skills, with the ability to articulate complex information clearly and persuasively.
  • Strong understanding of residential solar systems, financing options, and incentives (training provided).
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
  • Proficient with CRM software and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • High school diploma; additional education or certifications in solar energy or sales is a plus.
  • Ability to empathize with homeowners' concerns and effectively address objections.
  • Goal-oriented with a strong work ethic and a desire to succeed in a commission-driven environment.
