JOB TITLE : 

RESTAURANT MANAGER

1. Daily Operations Management

• Open and close the restaurant on time 

• Ensure smooth day-to-day functioning 

• Monitor service quality and speed 

• Handle rush hours efficiently 

2. Staff Management

• Hire, train, and supervise staff 

• Create duty rosters and manage shifts 

• Maintain discipline and team motivation 

• Handle staff complaints and performance issues 

3. Customer Service

• Ensure excellent guest experience 

• Handle customer complaints professionally 

• Build customer relationships (repeat customers matter a lot) 

4. Inventory & Stock Control

• Track raw materials (like all Frozen, Sauces, Disposable, Packing material) 

• Avoid wastage and shortages 

• Coordinate with suppliers and vendors 

5. Sales & Revenue Management

• Monitor daily sales reports 

• Work on increasing sales (offers, combos, upselling) 

• Control costs to maintain profit margins 

6. Hygiene & Food Safety

• Ensure cleanliness in kitchen and dining area 

• Follow food safety standards 

• Regular checks on food quality and storage 

7. Financial Management

• Handle cash flow and billing 

• Maintain records of expenses and income 

• Coordinate with accountant or owner 

8. Marketing & Promotions

• Plan local promotions (festivals, offers, combos) 

• Work with social media (Instagram posts, reels, etc.) 

• Coordinate campaigns for footfall increase 

9. Compliance & Documentation

• Ensure licenses are valid (FSSAI, GST, etc.) 

• Maintain & validate staff documents

• Follow local laws and regulations 

• Maintain records and reports 

10. Problem Solving

• Handle emergencies (staff shortage, customer issues, supply delays) 

• Make quick decisions under pressure
