Job Title: Business Development Manager – Elevator Sales

Reporting To: Sales Head / General Manager
Job Summary
We are looking for a dynamic and result-oriented Business Development Manager to drive sales growth for our elevator solutions in Bangalore. The candidate will be responsible for identifying new business opportunities, generating leads, building relationships with builders, architects, consultants, contractors, and property developers, and achieving sales targets for elevator installations and modernization projects.
Key Responsibilities
- Generate new business opportunities for passenger elevators, home lifts, goods lifts, and customized elevator solutions.
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with builders, architects, consultants, contractors, and real estate developers.
- Identify upcoming residential, commercial, industrial, and hospitality projects within Bangalore and surrounding areas.
- Conduct site visits, client meetings, and technical discussions to understand customer requirements.
- Prepare and present proposals, quotations, and commercial offers to prospective clients.
- Negotiate contracts and close sales deals while maintaining profitability.
- Achieve monthly, quarterly, and annual sales targets.
- Coordinate with the engineering and installation teams to ensure smooth project execution.
- Monitor competitor activities, market trends, and customer preferences.
- Follow up on payments and ensure timely collections from customers.
- Represent the company at industry events, exhibitions, and networking meetings.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Engineering, or a related field.
- 3–8 years of experience in elevator sales, building materials, construction products, MEP solutions, or related industries.
- Proven track record of achieving sales targets and business growth.
- Strong understanding of the construction and real estate market in Bangalore.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
- Ability to build and maintain long-term client relationships.
- Valid driving license and willingness to travel across Bangalore.
Preferred Skills
- Experience in elevator modernization and maintenance contract sales.
- Strong network among builders, architects, PMC consultants, and developers.
- Knowledge of elevator specifications, safety standards, and technical requirements.
- Self-motivated with strong problem-solving abilities.
