Fashion Designer

Job Description:

We are looking for a creative and detail-oriented Fashion Designer to join our team. The candidate will be responsible for designing clothing, accessories, and apparel collections based on current trends, brand requirements, and customer preferences. They should have strong sketching, pattern-making, and garment construction skills.

Key Responsibilities:

Design new clothing lines, apparel styles, and fashion collections.

Create sketches, mood boards, and digital illustrations for concepts.

Select appropriate fabrics, trims, and materials for designs.

Work with the sampling team for pattern making and garment construction.

Oversee fittings, alterations, and final production quality.

Research fashion trends, market demands, and competitor designs.

Coordinate with merchandisers, manufacturers, and vendors.

Maintain design documentation, tech packs, and size specs.

Present design ideas to the management and clients.

Ensure all designs align with brand identity and customer needs.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree or diploma in Fashion Design or Textile Design.

1–4 years of professional experience in fashion designing.

Strong drawing, illustration, and visualization skills.

Proficiency in design software such as Adobe Illustrator, Photoshop, CorelDRAW, CLO 3D, etc.

Good knowledge of fabrics, garment construction, and pattern making.

Creativity, attention to detail, and trend awareness.
