Job Description

Overview:

We are seeking a dynamic and personable Front Desk Staff member to join our Taproom. As

the face of our establishment, you will be responsible for creating an exceptional customer

experience from the moment guests walk through the door. Your role will involve a

combination of customer service, administrative tasks, and ensuring smooth operations at

the front desk.


Responsibilities:

1. Customer Service:

 Greet customers warmly as they enter the taproom.

 Provide information about our beer selections, specials, and events.

 Assist customers in making informed choices based on their preferences.

 Handle customer inquiries, comments, and concerns with professionalism and

efficiency.

 Ensure that customers have an enjoyable and memorable experience during their

visit.

2. Front Desk Operations:

 Manage the front desk area and maintain cleanliness and organization.

 Answer phone calls and respond to emails promptly and courteously.

 Take reservations and manage seating arrangements for guests.

 Process payments accurately using POS systems and handle cash transactions.

 Monitor inventory levels of merchandise and restock as needed.

 Collaborate with other staff members to ensure seamless operations.

3. Compliance and Safety:

 Adhere to all relevant health, safety, and sanitation guidelines.

 Verify the legal drinking age of customers and ensure compliance with alcohol

serving regulations.

 Monitor guest behavior and address any issues or concerns regarding intoxication or

disruptive behavior.

4. Team Collaboration:

 Work closely with bartenders, servers, and kitchen staff to ensure a cohesive and

positive guest experience.

 Communicate effectively with team members and management regarding customer

feedback and operational needs. Participate in staff meetings, training sessions, and ongoing professional

development opportunities.


Qualifications:

 Previous experience in customer service, hospitality, or a related field is preferred.

 Strong interpersonal and communication skills.

 Ability to multitask and work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.

 Excellent problem-solving abilities and a proactive attitude.

 Attention to detail and accuracy in handling transactions.

 Knowledge of craft beer and familiarity with different beer styles is a plus.

 Must be available to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.
