Quality/ UR Inspector

The candidate will be responsible for performing ultrasonic testing on forged and machined components to detect internal defects and ensure compliance with industry standards.

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform ultrasonic testing (UT) on steel forgings as per applicable standards.
• Interpret and evaluate test results for acceptance or rejection.
• Prepare and maintain inspection reports and records.
• Ensure all equipment is calibrated and maintained properly.
• Work closely with production and quality teams for inspection coordination.
• Follow all safety and quality protocols.
• Qualifications:Diploma/ITI in Mechanical Engineering or related field.
• Certification in Ultrasonic Testing (Level II as per ASNT/ISNT).
• Minimum 2 years of experience in UT testing, preferably in forging or steel industry.
• Good understanding of NDT techniques and documentation.

Preferred Skills :

• Knowledge of ASTM, ASME, EN, and other relevant standards.
• Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings.
• Strong attention to detail and documentation.
• Basic computer knowledge for report generation.
