About the Company

The clinet is a Bangalore-based specialty beverage company focused on delivering premium coffee and tea products across cafés, offices and retail channels. We have Automatic fresh boiled milk filter coffee and filter tea vending machines. The taste is as good as one prepares at home or Hotels. The conventional method of preparing filter coffee and filter tea is auomated.

Role Overview

Drive B2B and retail sales growth across Bangalore — acquire new accounts on rental, and ensure channel-level execution and service..

Key Responsibilities

  • Own sales for assigned Bangalore zones: acquire new accounts (cafés, modern trade, retail, corporates) and grow existing ones.
  • Achieve monthly/quarterly revenue & distribution targets; convert trials into recurring subscriptions.
  • New Machine Placement and corporate client acquisition.
  • Build and maintain relationships with key buyers, store managers and procurement leads.
  • Manage order booking, follow-up on deliveries, handle basic merchandising and shelf audits.
  • Monitor competitor activity, pricing and local trends; recommend local promotions.
  • Ensure timely collections and maintain order-to-cash discipline.
  • Coordinate with operations, marketing and customer success to ensure on-time fulfillment and customer satisfaction with zero service escalation.
  • Maintain CRM updates (calls, visits, orders, pipeline) and submit weekly/monthly reports.
  • Lead the Sales team for performance. 

 

Territories & travel

  • Complete Bangalore — frequent local travel, occasional evening or weekend visits.

Required experience & skills

  • Minimum 8 — 10 years of field sales experience in FMCG / food & beverage / coffee-tea distribution, vending business  or Horeca sales
  • Proven track record of acquiring and scaling Corporate accounts.
  • Strong negotiation, presentation and relationship-building skills.
  • Comfortable with field work, target-driven culture and using CRM/mobile apps.
  • Self-starter, organized, good with numbers (basic P&L / margin awareness).

Preferred

  • Prior experience managing vending business.
  • Existing network across Bangalore corporates.

KPIs

  • Monthly revenue vs target (primary KPI)
  • Number of new active accounts opened per month
  • Rental conversion rate (trial → recurring)
  • Collection Days (DSO) and order fulfillment rate
