Job Description:

Chef – Sunfeast Baked Creations (ITC Fresh Food Business)The Chef is responsible for the preparation, production, and quality delivery of bakery and confectionery products under the Sunfeast Baked Creations brand, ensuring consistency, food safety, and operational efficiency.

Main Responsibilities

• Ensure consistent production of high-quality baked products as per brand standards.
• Maintain hygiene, food safety, and compliance with FSSAI and ITC guidelines.
• Manage daily kitchen operations, production planning, and workflow efficiency.
• Support recipe execution and contribute to product innovation and improvements.
• Control inventory, minimize wastage, and optimize ingredient usage.
• Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth operations and timely output.

Key Tasks

• Prepare, bake, and finish products such as cakes, pastries, breads, and desserts.
• Follow standardized recipes and portion controls accurately.
• Monitor baking processes, including oven temperatures and timing.
• Conduct daily quality checks for taste, texture, and appearance.
• Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of kitchen, equipment, and storage areas.
• Track inventory levels and coordinate replenishment of raw materials.
• Record production data, quality checks, and wastage reports.
• Assist in product trials, seasonal menu updates, and new product development.
