Job Description
- Key Responsibilities:
- Lead Generation and Market Research:
- Research potential clients, projects, and market trends to identify new business opportunities.
- Develop and maintain a pipeline of leads and opportunities.
- Conduct competitor analysis to identify market gaps and potential areas for business expansion.
- Identify and target key decision-makers in potential client organizations.
- Client Relationship Management:
- Build and maintain strong relationships with existing clients to ensure repeat business.
- Establish rapport with new clients and stakeholders, understanding their needs and offering tailored solutions.
- Attend client meetings, site visits, and industry events to promote the company’s services.
- Proposal Preparation and Presentation:
- Prepare and present proposals, bids, and presentations to clients for construction projects.
- Collaborate with the technical team to ensure that proposals meet client requirements and specifications.
- Ensure that all bids are in line with the company’s capabilities and pricing structure.
- Negotiate contracts and terms with clients to secure new business.
- Project Coordination:
- Coordinate with project managers and technical teams to ensure the smooth transition of business opportunities into active projects.
- Assist in the preparation of project documentation and contracts.
- Monitor ongoing client relationships and address any concerns or queries regarding projects.
- Marketing and Brand Promotion:
- Work with the marketing team to develop promotional materials and strategies for business development.
- Participate in construction industry events, trade shows, and conferences to represent the company and expand its network.
- Ensure the company’s brand is effectively promoted in the marketplace.
- Reporting and Documentation:
- Maintain accurate records of leads, contacts, meetings, and opportunities in CRM systems.
- Provide regular updates and reports to the Business Development Manager on progress, challenges, and market trends.
- Track and analyze sales performance and adjust strategies to meet targets.
- Collaboration and Teamwork:
- Collaborate with senior management, engineering teams, and other departments to align business development efforts with the company’s goals.
- Share market insights and feedback with the team to help refine services and offerings.
