Job Title: Chef — American Food Startup (Bangalore)

Salary: ₹30,000–40,000/month + Bonuses

Experience: 1–3 years in any commercial kitchen

We are building an American food brand from scratch in Bangalore. Hiring our Founding Chef — the first kitchen team member. You will develop recipes with exact gram-level measurements, build and manage a Central Kitchen, create sauces and marinades that become our signature, train kitchen staff, and build cooking processes that can be replicated across multiple outlets.

Must have: Commercial kitchen experience (1+ year), comfort with exact measurements (grams, not andaaz), interest in sauces, marinades, and flavour development, Bangalore based or willing to relocate, Hindi and/or Kannada fluency.

Strongly preferred: Hotel management degree/diploma, experience with American/Western cuisine, frying techniques (deep fry, double fry), experience training other cooks, exposure to kitchen automation and SOP/process creation, QSR or cloud kitchen experience.

We offer: ₹50K recipe completion bonus, cash bonuses at each outlet opening (₹25K–₹75K per outlet, increasing with scale), structured salary growth to ₹60–70K, career path from Founding Chef → Head Chef → Multi-Unit Kitchen Director, staff meals, PF/ESI.

This is a founding team role. You help build the brand from Day 1. When we scale to 50+ outlets, your role scales with it.
