Logistics Associate

The Operations Executive will handle end-to-end courier bookings, transport coordination, dispatch planning, and daily tracking of shipments. The role ensures timely deliveries, accurate documentation, and smooth coordination between warehouse, courier partners, and customers.

• Key Responsibilities

1. Courier Booking & Dispatch Book daily shipments across multiple courier partners (surface and air).

• Select the most cost-effective and reliable courier based on weight, pincode, and TAT.
• Generate labels, manifests, and shipping documents accurately.
• Ensure proper packaging and handover to courier teams.
• Sync orders with platforms like Shopify, Amazon, ONDC, etc., if needed.

2. Transport Coordination Arrange transport vehicles for bulk shipments, B2B orders, pallets and interstate loads.

• Coordinate with transport vendors for pickup times, vehicle availability, and rates.
• Verify LR (Lorry Receipt), invoices, and loading documentation.
• Follow up with drivers and transporters regularly until delivery.

3. Tracking & Reporting Track all shipments daily and update delivery status.

• Handle delayed, RTO, lost or damaged shipments with courier partners.
• Maintain MIS for dispatched orders, freight costs, and delivery timelines.
• Share daily shipment and dispatch reports with management.

4. Vendor & Internal Coordination Communicate with courier partners for rate negotiations, escalations and SLA issues.

• Coordinate closely with warehouse team for picking, packing and dispatch readiness.
• Work with customer support team for delivery concerns, priority orders and escalations.

5. Documentation & Compliance Maintain proper logs of bookings, LR copies, invoices and rate cards.

• Ensure accurate weight and dimension entries to avoid charges.
• Support the finance team with reconciling courier bills.
