Job Description

A site engineer is responsible for managing the day-to-day engineering work at a construction site. Their responsibilities include:

Technical advice: Acting as the main technical advisor for the project, providing technical advice, and solving problems on site

Site management: Overseeing the construction work, including setting out the site, leveling, and surveying

Quality assurance: Ensuring that the work and materials meet specifications, and implementing quality control processes

Communication: Liaising with clients, subcontractors, suppliers, and other professionals

Compliance: Ensuring compliance with health and safety, sustainability, and legal regulations

Project management: Managing the project budget, reviewing schedules, and monitoring progress

Documentation: Preparing site reports, logging progress, and maintaining detailed records
