Retail Sales Officer

Role OverviewThe Sales Officer will be responsible for driving sales growth by promoting and selling teakwood products, including furniture, modular interiors, and raw teakwood materials. This role requires a dynamic individual who can build strong customer relationships, understand market needs, and ensure high customer satisfaction while meeting company revenue targets.

1. Key ResponsibilitiesSales & Business Development

• Identify and develop new business opportunities with retail, wholesale, and institutional clients.
• Meet and exceed monthly and annual sales targets set by the management.
• Present, promote, and sell teakwood products (furniture, logs, modular systems, interiors) to potential customers.

• Maintain long-term relationships with existing customers through regular follow-ups.
• Handle customer inquiries and provide product details, quotations, and recommendations.
• Coordinate after-sales support to ensure customer satisfaction.

• Gather market intelligence on competitors, pricing, and customer trends.
• Suggest effective sales strategies to increase market share.
• Participate in exhibitions, trade fairs, and promotional campaigns.

• Work closely with the production and design teams to align customer requirements with product offerings.
• Prepare sales reports, forecasts, and MIS data for management review.
• Ensure timely collection of payments and monitor credit customers.
