Job Description of Business Development (Sales)


Lead Generation and Meeting Setup

a.      Proactively identify and generate leads for Digital quality inspections within the manufacturing industry through various channels such as cold calling, networking, and leveraging existing relationships.

b.      Schedule and coordinate meetings with potential clients to introduce GladMinds and discuss their requirements.

c.       Conduct thorough assessments of leads during meetings to determine their suitability and potential as clients.

d.      Utilize lead scoring techniques to prioritize leads based on their likelihood to convert.


  1. Scope Alignment to Offer Finalization

a.      Work closely with clients to understand their specific needs and align GladMinds accordingly, ensuring a perfect fit for their business objectives.

b.      Collaborate with internal teams to prepare customized proposals and offers that meet the client's requirements and expectations.

c.       Negotiate terms and conditions with clients, address any concerns or objections, and finalize agreements.

d.      Customize presentations to highlight key features and benefits tailored to the client's requirements.


Collections, Reporting, and Client Relationship Management

a.      Oversee the collection process, ensuring timely payment from clients and resolving any payment-related issues.

b.      Maintain accurate records of client interactions, activities, and sales progress in the CRM system.

c.       Provide daily reports on sales activities and progress.

d.      Prepare monthly summaries highlighting key achievements, challenges, and areas for improvement.

e.      Build and nurture strong relationships with clients to foster trust and loyalty.


  1. Market Research and Continuous Learning

a.      Stay abreast of industry trends, competitive landscape, and market developments within the target sectors.

b.      Conduct market research to identify emerging opportunities and potential areas for expansion.

c.       Participate in ongoing training and professional development programs to enhance sales skills and product knowledge.

d.      Share knowledge and expertise with team members to foster a culture of collaboration and continuous learning.


Performance Metrics Tracking and Adherence to Policies

a.      Set clear performance goals and targets aligned with organizational objectives.

b.      Track key performance metrics such as lead conversion rates, sales revenue, and customer satisfaction scores.

c.       Ensure compliance with company policies, procedures, and ethical standards in all sales activities.

d.      Seek guidance from legal and compliance teams as needed to ensure adherence to relevant regulations and guidelines.

e.      Develop action plans to address performance gaps and drive continuous improvement in sales outcomes.
