Job Description

Job Title: Sales Executive – Industrial Lubricants

Location: Bangalore, India

Department: Sales & Marketing

Reports To: Area Sales Manager / Regional Sales Head

 

Position Overview:

We are seeking a dynamic and motivated Sales Executive to drive the sales and promotion of industrial lubricants across the Bangalore region. The ideal candidate should have prior experience in selling industrial products such as bearings, belts, lubricants, metals & alloys, paints, or related consumables, and possess a strong network within manufacturing and engineering industries.

 

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and grow sales of industrial lubricants through new customer acquisition and existing account management.
  • Identify potential clients across manufacturing, automotive, cement, steel, textiles, and engineering sectors.
  • Achieve monthly and annual sales targets as per business goals.
  • Conduct regular customer visits, understand requirements, and recommend appropriate lubricant solutions.
  • Prepare and present quotations, negotiate pricing, and close sales deals.
  • Build and maintain strong customer relationships to ensure repeat and long-term business.
  • Collect market intelligence on competitors, pricing, and industry trends.
  • Coordinate with internal teams for timely order execution, delivery, and payment follow-ups.
  • Maintain accurate sales records, reports, and forecasts.

 

Qualifications & Experience:

  • Education: Diploma or Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering (Mechanical / Industrial / Chemical) or Science / Commerce. MBA in Marketing preferred.
  • Experience: 2–6 years in industrial/B2B sales, preferably in lubricants or related industrial products (bearings, belts, metals & alloys, paints, etc.).
  • Industry Exposure: Experience selling to manufacturing plants, OEMs, or industrial distributors is desirable.

 

Skills & Attributes:

  • Strong communication, negotiation, and presentation skills
  • Technical understanding of industrial lubricants and applications
  • Self-motivated, result-driven, and customer-focused
  • Good relationship-building and networking abilities
  • Basic computer proficiency (MS Office, CRM tools)
  • Willingness to travel within assigned territory
