Job Description

Key Responsibilities

1. IT Infrastructure Management

  • Handle end-to-end IT setup, maintenance, and troubleshooting single-handedly.
  • Oversee servers, endpoints, networks, and user devices to ensure smooth IT operations.
  • Perform regular system health checks and ensure optimal performance.

2. Device & Operating System Management

  • Provide support across Windows, macOS, and Linux environments.
  • Manage system updates, patching, and performance optimization.

3. IT Inventory & Asset Management

  • Maintain accurate records of IT assets, accessories, and software licenses.
  • Monitor and manage IT inventory to ensure availability and compliance.

4. Vendor & Procurement Management

  • Coordinate with vendors for purchase, repairs, and AMC-related activities.
  • Evaluate vendor quotes, negotiate pricing, and ensure timely delivery of IT-related items.

5. Google Workspace Administration

  • Manage user accounts, groups, security policies, and configurations on Google Workspace.
  • Ensure data security, backup, and compliance within the workspace environment.

6. NAS & Storage Management

  • Oversee NAS operations, including configuration, backup, access control, and performance.
  • Ensure secure and reliable storage management.

7. End-User Support

  • Act as the single point of contact for all IT-related support across the organization.
  • Provide complete technical assistance to end users for hardware, software, and system-related issues.
  • Support users with MDM tasks, including device enrollment, policy compliance, troubleshooting, and overall device lifecycle management.
  • Manage Google Workspace end to end—user account creation, email configurations, access control, security settings, and issue resolution.
  • Ensure smooth functioning of all IT systems (Windows, Mac, Linux) and provide quick resolutions to minimize downtime.
  • Educate employees on IT best practices, cybersecurity hygiene, and efficient use of systems and tools.

8. Networking

  • Handle basic networking tasks such as Wi-Fi configuration, router/modem setup, and LAN management.
  • Troubleshoot connectivity issues and maintain stable network operations.

9. Communication & Coordination

  • Communicate effectively with internal teams and external stakeholders.
  • Provide timely updates, documentation, and support to employees.

 

Required Skills & Qualifications

  • Proven experience as a System Administrator or Senior IT Support Engineer.
  • Strong knowledge of Windows, Mac, and Linux environments.
  • Experience in Google Workspace management.
  • Familiarity with NAS, MDM, EPS/EPP, and basic networking concepts.
  • Strong organizational skills for inventory and asset management.
  • Excellent communication and coordination abilities.
  • Ability to work independently and handle end-to-end IT operations.

 

Preferred Qualifications

  • Certifications such as CompTIA A+, Network+, Google Workspace Admin, or similar (optional).
  • Experience managing IT operations in a growing or multi-device environment.
