Job Summary:

We are seeking a skilled and motivated Tool & Die Maker to design, build, maintain, and repair precision tools, dies, jigs, and fixtures used in manufacturing processes. The ideal candidate should have hands-on experience in tool room operations, machining, fitting, and die maintenance.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manufacture, assemble, and fit tools, dies, jigs, and fixtures as per design specifications.
• Read and interpret engineering drawings, CAD models, and blueprints.
• Operate conventional machines such as milling, turning, grinding, EDM/WEDM, and CNC machines.
• Perform preventive maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair of existing dies and moulds.
• Ensure dimensional accuracy and quality of produced tools using precision measuring instruments.
• Collaborate with design and production teams to improve tool performance and manufacturing efficiency.
• Maintain a clean and organized tool room, following safety and quality standards.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

• ITI / Diploma in Tool & Die Making or Tool Engineering.
• 6 months to 6 years of relevant experience in tool & die making, mould making, or precision machining.
• Proficient in operating tool room machines (milling, lathe, surface grinder, EDM, WEDM, etc.).
• Strong understanding of engineering drawings and GD&T.
• Knowledge of tool steels, heat treatment, and machining processes.
• Attention to detail, problem-solving ability, and teamwork skills.

Preferred Skills (Optional):

• Experience in
• press tools, or die casting dies.
• Basic knowledge of CAD/CAM software (AutoCAD,SolidWorks, etc.).
• Exposure to ISO/TS quality systems.
