Data Quality Analyst

About this opportunity 

Responsible for monitoring data quality, identifying data quality issues and working with Business and IT stakeholder on remediation and monitoring activities.


What you will do 

Data quality work with business stakeholders

•    Estimate effort needed to meet data quality objectives set forward by use cases.
•    Define (or support in defining) rules, targets for each indicator and perform user acceptance testing (UAT)
•    Conduct (or support in conducting) data quality measurement and assessment.
•    Perform (or support in performing) data quality issue root cause analysis and assist in designing action plans to remediate gaps. 
•    Support Global Data Equality Expert on key data quality use cases.
Data quality tooling
•    Ability to Configure, implement rules in the tool.
•    Plan and Design local visualization dashboards for implementation in-line with business needs together with IT.
•    Support in defining common data quality tool requirements.
Data quality governance
•    Support in development, maintenance and improvement of data quality framework, standards, processes, and metrics at company level. 
•    Support to provide input to data policies and procedures related to data quality.
•    Monitor and report data quality levels, issue remediations and controls for assigned data domains. 
•    Track remediations and report to Global Data Quality Expert when remediation agreements are breached.
•    Collaborate with IT and Business stakeholders to promote data quality mindset.


You will bring
•    5+ years of hands-on experience working with data management or quality improvement. 
•    Previous experience as business/IT analyst or software tester
•    Experience of working in Data Management and Data Governance.
•    Strong experience in an enterprise or cross-functional role, interpersonal communication and abilities in data analysis
•    Understanding of business contexts and regulatory requirements relevant to data quality
•    Familiarity with data quality tools and technologies eg Informatica / Collibra/Great Expectations
•    Basic SQL knowledge & data models and databases
