Project Role Description : Administer, develop, test, or demonstrate databases. Perform many related database functions across one or more teams or clients, including designing, implementing and maintaining new databases, backup/recovery and configuration management. Install database management systems (DBMS) and provide input for modification of procedures and documentation used for problem resolution and day-to-day maintenance.

Summary: As a Database Administrator, you will administer, develop, test, or demonstrate databases. You will perform many related database functions across one or more teams or clients, including designing, implementing and maintaining new databases, backup/recovery and configuration management. Your typical day will involve installing database management systems (DBMS) and providing input for modification of procedures and documentation used for problem resolution and day-to-day maintenance. You will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation and optimization of databases. Roles & Responsibilities: - Expected to be a SME with deep knowledge and experience. - Should have influencing and Advisory skills. - Engage with multiple teams and responsible for team decisions. - Expected to provide solutions to problems that apply across multiple teams, and provide solutions to business area problems. - Responsible for ensuring the smooth operation and optimization of databases. - Designing, implementing, and maintaining new databases. - Performing backup/recovery and configuration management. - Installing database management systems (DBMS) and providing input for modification of procedures and documentation used for problem resolution and day-to-day maintenance. Professional & Technical Skills: - Must To Have Skills: Proficiency in Oracle Cloud Infrastructure Administration. - Good To Have Skills: Experience with cloud-based database management systems. - Strong understanding of database administration principles and best practices. - Experience in performance tuning and optimization of databases. - Knowledge of backup and recovery strategies for databases. - Familiarity with database security and access control. - Experience in troubleshooting and resolving database issues. - Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams. Additional Information: - The candidate should have a minimum of 18 years of experience in Oracle Cloud Infrastructure Administration. - This position is based at our Bengaluru office. - A 15 years full time education is required.
