Job Description: Hardware Engineer II – ES-ET-Qual

 

Position Overview

This is an exciting opportunity to be part of the Qualification test team within the Electronic Test (ES-ET) group. The purpose of the Hardware Engineer II role is to ensure Qualification Test technical excellence as an End Item team addressing multiple Aerospace products' Qualification test requirements in collaboration with stakeholders ranging from Product Engineering, Obsolescence Engineering, and Certification.

 

Key Responsibilities

·       Build the lab test infrastructure to meet customer needs (Obsolescence, NPI).

·       Maintain and sustain certification of Aero Qualification test labs.

·       Set up the test setup, execute tests, and troubleshoot any test-related issues.

·       Provide technical expertise within the assigned area of work – Aerospace Qual test.

·       Develop and review all technical documents.

Qualifications

·       Bachelor’s degree in engineering with 3+ years of Qualification Test Execution experience

 

Required Skills

·       Experience with DO-160, MIL STD, D6 testing.

·       Proficiency in Environmental testing, EMI/EMC Test.

·       Ability to build the test lab infrastructure to meet customer needs.

·       Experience in Qualification test documentation development and review – QTP, QTR.

·       Test lab maintenance skills.

·       Capability to set up the test setup, execute tests, and troubleshoot test-related issues.

·       Qualification Test Lab management – planning, scheduling, managing multiple stakeholders.

·       Essential experience in Aerospace product qualification.
