Job Summary Need an Jr accountant for a Bangalore based client. The client is a logistics service provider with its own fleet of vehicles. It is a closely held limited company with more than 10 years of existence. Group turnover exceeds 20 crores and number of employees is around 150. Responsibilities and Duties Maintain day to day operation of the accounts, handling the subordinate staff members and knowledge of recording data as per Income Tax Rules. Data Entry of challans, purchase bills, invoice generation, expense vouchers, bank reconciliation. Maintain accurate ledger and journal. Prepare books of accounts, cash book, journal Finalize trading account, p&l statement and BS. Interact and coordinate with appointed external auditors to finalize yearly books. Maintain and manage all GST filings. Qualifications and Skills 1. Knowledge of preparation of Balance Sheet as per Companies Act. 2. Knowledge of preparation of Profit & Loss Account as per Companies Act. 3. Knowledge of preparation of GST Return, preparation of challans and filing the same to the Authorities 4. Knowledge of preparation of TDS Return and filing the same to the authorities. 5. Knowledge of PF, ESI and Professional Tax Rules. 6 Must know the Tally ERP9 7 Capable of maintain day to day operation of the accounts, handling the subordinate staff members and knowledge of recording data as per Income Tax Rules.
