CloudValley Solutions IT team is currently seeking highly talented and motivated individual for the position of Network Specialist & Team Lead. A successful candidate will be engaged in the design and implement networking solutions, conduct POCS & pitch innovative solutions to customers and support for Cloud Valley Solutions in India & Manchi Group in Muscat. This person will be confident working in a multi-vendor environment and will participate as a member of a dynamic team in Indian & Oman. Candidate is expected to be able to understand customer requirements over call, email or meeting and come up with a proposed solution. Candidate should be able to defend proposed solution against customer and internal scrutiny. Finally, candidate should be able to implement the accepted plan, training client’s team appropriately, coordinate with client, build or polish documentation and hand over the setup after acceptance. The ideal candidate is expected to train internal team members and lead the Network Practice for the company. Candidate would also be expected to help in hiring next level of network engineers as part of company's growth. You can assume different problems, different devices, different architectures at each client and thus, unparalleled learning and growth. Essential Job Functions • Make sure customers are treated with the highest degree of respect and drive operational excellence through quality closures • This is a hands-on Sales & Technical role. • Support small team in India on Network Infrastructure solving issues and give complete support for Muscat, Oman team. • Responsible for performance analysis, proactive troubleshooting and capacity planning for the Network platforms. • Participate in product & network troubleshooting’s • Performance analysis & Root Cause Analysis. • Communicate with peers and managers regarding system issues • Generate reports on need basis. • Grow and maintain our customers Network Equipment’s, Firewalls, Application Delivery Controllers (ADC) & their VPN using both physical and virtual firewall appliances • Improve security in every implementation & changes • Customize, enhance and monitor WAN acceleration across our customers networks • Migration/Implementation of IPv6 • Network management of several dozen switches (multi-vendor), related tools and management components • Further automation in the areas of network log aggregation, flow reporting, and change deployment • Take ownership of technically sophisticated customer-reported issues from web, phone, chat and email and work closely with the customer until complete resolution • Document relevant information and ensure the customer is communicated with in a timely manner regarding the overall progress of their issue • Provide qualified information to Engineering so they can improve product quality and reliability • Involves design and implementation of AD, Azure AD, O365/M365 products. • Knowledge on Azure computing and cloud migration and running solutions Qualification & Experience • 3-4 years with bachelor's or master's in Computer Science, Computer Engineering or related field • Experience in design, deploy & manage IPv4/IPv6 networks (Routers /Switches /Firewalls) • Platform knowledge on switching technologies like Cisco/HP Aruba/Huawei • Solid understanding of IP/MPLS and Ethernet technologies. • Experience in IP services (IPv4, IPv6, VPN, Multicast, QOS, SNMP, VOIP, SIP, etc) and experience is routing protocols like BGP/OSPF etc. • Configuring and managing security appliances and next generation firewalls from various vendors such as Fortigate, Sophos, Cisco and etc • Should be good at handling technologies like NMS, VPN and IPS • Should have experience in configuring wifi access points, controllers and wifi security solutions • Assist in design / development of network products and solutions • Assist in network-based projects and development • Preparing network diagrams / documentation based on the project needs • Dealing with all types of network-related incidents to ensure that Service Level Agreements with customers are adhered to. • Strong working knowledge in vulnerability assessment, network audits and throughput testing are preferred. • Proven experience in network management & Expert knowledge of network analysis tools (Solarwinds, ManageEngine and etc) • Excellent general knowledge of TCP/IP • OEM certification such as CCNA, Microsoft Windows Server, Firewall Certifications etc are preferred • Excellent knowledge on switching technologies and concepts such as STP, VRRP, VTP, Stacking, LLDP, L2 Security & 2/3 Tier architecture • Hands on experience with Protocol Analyzer tools & debugging tools. • Knowledge on endpoint products like Sophos Central, ESET, Kaspersky or etc • Basic knowledge on PAM solutions, WAF solutions, Load Balancers and etc • Knowledge on Servers, Storage & SAN Switches especially in Dell EMC & HP • Knowledge with SIEM platforms • Provide management and technical leadership to the teams in delivering agreed SLAs and meeting promised deliverables. • Responsible for new proposals and business development discussions with prospective customers. Work with the Sales team for new proposals. • Provide true leadership to the teams in both technical and non-technical manners. • Prepare proposal submissions and follow-ups and includes post project documentation too • Good communication skills with multi-platform skills are preferred. • Provide 24x7 support on call support. This support might often require travel to customers location. Ad-hoc calls are minimal, typically at most one call a month. Most other calls are planned down-time / maintenance calls.
