JOB DUTIES  Helps patients with basic bathing, grooming and dressing needs, administers medication.  The patient care attendant communicates the status of the patient, including any changes, periodically, to an assigned doctor or supervisor including the family member.  Monitors patient condition by observing physical and mental condition, intake and output, and exercise  Helps family members care for the patient by teaching appropriate ways to lift, turn, and re-position the patient.  Maintains a safe, secure, and healthy patient environment by following safety & hygiene standards and procedures.  Protects the Nightingales brand image by adhering to professional standards, home care policies and procedures and local requirements.  Enhances service reputation by accepting ownership for accomplishing new and different requests also referring to Nightingales for other services.
