PHP Tech Lead

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior PHP Web Developer with extensive experience in PHP and a solid understanding of .NET C#. In this role, you will design, develop, and maintain web applications, primarily in PHP, while also integrating .NET C# components when required. You will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, ensuring smooth delivery of scalable and maintainable solutions.

Key Responsibilities:
Lead the development, implementation, and maintenance of the Electronic Visit Verification web application using PHP.
Collaborate on projects that involve both PHP and .NET C# technologies, ensuring seamless integration between the environments.
Design and optimize database schemas (MySQL, MSSQL) to ensure efficient data flow and performance.
Work with front-end teams to ensure the integration of APIs and back-end services.
Ensure web applications are secure, scalable, and adhere to best coding practices.
Perform code reviews, testing, and optimization to maintain high code quality.
Troubleshoot, debug, and upgrade existing applications as necessary.
Mentor junior developers and provide guidance on best practices and technical solutions.
Collaborate with product owners, scrum masters, project managers, stakeholders, and other team members to deliver high-quality software on time.

Qualifications:
Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
7+ years of experience in PHP web development within the Laravel framework.
2+ years of experience working with .NET C# in a professional environment.
Proficient in HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, and modern front-end frameworks (Angular or React).
Strong knowledge of object-oriented programming and design patterns.
Experience with RESTful APIs and web services integration.
Solid understanding of version control systems (Git).
Familiarity with cloud platforms (Azure) and DevOps practices (CI/CD, ADO, etc.).
Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
Strong communication skills and ability to work both independently and within a team.

Preferred Qualifications:
Experience with microservices architecture.
Familiarity with Agile methodologies.
Knowledge of Test-Driven Development (TDD) and Continuous Integration.
Experience with NoSQL databases (MongoDB, Redis).
