We are looking for an experienced procurement manager to oversee our purchasing activity on a Pan India basis and ensure the products are cost effective, high quality and comply with company standards. Candidates applying for the post should have an analytical mind and should be updated with products and service trends. Role & Responsibilities: 1. Preparing plans for the purchase of equipment, services & supplies. 2. Reviewing, comparing, analyzing and proposing the product and services to be purchased. 3. Managing inventories & maintaining accurate purchase and pricing records. 4. Maintaining and updating supplier information such as product range, delivery timelines. 5. Maintaining positive supplier relationship and maintaining contracts. 6. Research and evaluating prospective suppliers. 7. Negotiating the best possible rate without compromising the quality of the product. 8. Preparing budgets, cost analysis and reports. Required Qualification & Skills: 1. Degree in accounting, business management or a similar field preferred. 2. 2 Plus years of experience as a procurement office or a similar position. 3. Proficiency in Microsoft office and purchase software. 4. Strong communication and negotiation skills. 5. Good analytical and strategic thinking skills. 6. Supervisory and management experience. 7. Eye for detailing.
