Introduction:

The Business Manager / Business Readiness Lead is responsible for planning, coordinating, and managing business readiness activities across the integration office to support M&A activity and strategic operations/process integration within Order-To-Cash including credit-to-cash, Treasury, and Global Trade Compliance. This role ensures that Finance functions, processes, and teams are prepared for change, enabling successful adoption and sustained performance improvements. The position partners with cross-functional stakeholders  including Data & Analytics, IT, other Capability Groups, and external partners—to drive readiness, manage risks, and deliver value across all relevant projects and initiatives. 

Essential Responsibilities:

  • Lead and coordinate business-readiness activities for the integration office (M&A activities), process changes, and technology implementations for O2C, including credit-to-cash, Treasury, and the Global Trade Compliance capability group. 

  • Develop and maintain business readiness roadmaps, project plans, and dashboards. 

  • Assess organizational impact, identify readiness gaps, and design mitigation strategies. 

  • Facilitate stakeholder engagement, change management, and communication plans. 

  • Track progress, manage risks, and report status to CGL and Global Process Owner (GPO). 

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure alignment and successful delivery of program objectives. 

  • Support process mapping, documentation, compliance checks, and business process harmonization efforts. 

  • Prepare executive-ready presentations, dashboards, and reports for leadership. 

  • Perform all activities safely and responsibly, and support all Environmental, Health, Safety & Security requirements and programs. 

  • Work and collaborate on other projects and/or assignments as needed. 

Job Complexity 

  • Works on complex problems that require analysis of data and situations.  

  • Applies judgment within established procedures, practices, and policies, developing methods and evaluation criteria for obtaining results, and escalating complex issues to the CGL.  

  • Integrates work across departments and considers global impact. 

Accountability 

  • Plans, directs, and is accountable for all M&A activities and results of the O2C, including credit-to-cash, Treasury, and the Global Trade Compliance capability group related to business readiness. 

  • Delivers assigned work on time and with accuracy, ensuring alignment with Capability Group objectives.  

  • Maintains clear and timely communication with the CGL and GPO.  

  • Contributes to process improvement and harmonization efforts, supporting the CGL’s accountability for transformation outcomes. 

Relationship Focus 

  • Builds cross-functional and cross-regional partnerships. 

  • Collaborates with cross-functional teams, including Data & Analytics, IT, other Capability Groups, and external partners.  

  • Builds relationships with internal customers and subject matter experts.  

  • Participates in formal and informal networks to support the integration (M&A) program's objectives and stakeholder engagement. 

Knowledge, Skills & Abilities 

  • Requires functional expertise and knowledge of O2C, including credit-to-cash, Treasury, and the Global Trade Compliance workstream business processes. 

  • Strong analytical, organizational, and communication skills. 

  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and work in a fast-paced, global environment. 

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, PowerPoint, Word). 

  • Demonstrated experience in M&A with leading business readiness or change management activities for M&A projects/activities. 

  • Experience with business process harmonization & corporate performance management projects, and global-scale ERP implementations preferred. 

  • Familiarity with legacy Oracle systems, SAP S4 HANA, SAP SD module, SAP RM (Receivable Management), SAP TRM (Treasury), SAP GTS, and Quantum is a plus. 

  • Business-level English required, additional languages a plus. 

Education & Experience 

  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Business Administration, Information Systems, or related field. 

  • 10+ years of relevant experience in business operations, finance, project management, or transformation environments. 

  • Demonstrated experience in leading business readiness or change management activities for large-scale projects.
