The Sr. Manager – Events is a senior-level position responsible for leading and managing the planning, coordination, and execution of high-profile Gaming/Esports events. This role requires a high level of skill and experience in event planning and management, as well as excellent communication, organizational, and leadership abilities. Requirements Key Responsibilities: 1. Lead the planning, coordination, and execution of high-profile events 2. Develop and implement event strategies and plans that align with the organization’s goals and objectives 3. Identify and secure event venues and vendors 4. Manage event budgets and financial reporting 5. Oversee the creation of event marketing materials, including flyers, brochures, and websites 6. Build and maintain relationships with clients, sponsors, vendors, and partners 7. Oversee event staff 8. Ensure that all events are executed safely and in compliance with legal and regulatory requirements 9. Provide on-site event management and troubleshoot any issues that may arise 10. Create post-event reports and analyze data to determine the success of events and identify areas for improvement. 11. Work closely with senior management and other key stakeholders to ensure the events align with overall organizational goals. 12. Lead a team of event planners and managers to execute events. Qualifications: 1. A minimum of 7-10 years of experience in event planning and management 2. Strong project management skills 3. Gaming Knowledge is a big plus 4. Excellent communication and leadership skills 5. Strong organizational skills and attention to detail 6. Proficient in the use of event planning software and technology 7. Experience working with budgets and financial reports 8. Strong understanding of event marketing and public relations 9. Ability to work well under pressure and manage multiple tasks simultaneously 10. Strong understanding of legal and regulatory requirements for events 11. A bachelor’s degree in event management, marketing, or a related field is preferred. This role often requires to work outside of normal office hours and during weekends and even holidays. Travel may also be required.
