Job Title: Automation and Simulation Testing Lead

Department: Quality Assurance / Testing

Reports To: Embedded Engineering Manager

Job Overview: The Automation and Simulation Testing Lead will spearhead the development and implementation of a comprehensive automation and simulation testing strategy across the IA_HPS Strategic Business Group (SBG). This role requires a strategic thinker with a deep understanding of automation tools and simulation techniques to enhance product quality and accelerate time-to-market.

Responsibilities and Duties:

·       Develop and execute a long-term automation and simulation testing strategy for the SBG.

·       Lead and mentor a team of automation and simulation testing professionals.

·       Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate automation and simulation testing into the product development lifecycle.

·       Design and maintain automation frameworks and simulation environments to support various testing phases.

·       Drive continuous improvement in testing practices by leveraging the latest technologies and methodologies.

·       Manage the creation, execution, and maintenance of automated test scripts to ensure robust product releases.

·       Analyze test results, report on testing progress and issues, and make recommendations for improvements.

·       Ensure compliance with industry standards and regulatory requirements.

·       Manage budget, resources, and timelines for testing activities.

Qualifications:

·       Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.

·       Extensive experience in automation and simulation testing within a large-scale enterprise environment.

·       Strong leadership skills with the ability to manage and develop a high-performing testing team.

·       Proficiency in automation testing tools (e.g., Selenium, QTP) and simulation software. Knowledge of quality assurance methodologies and automation tools like SELENIUM, TestComplete, Appium, TestStudio 

·        

·       Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.

·       Exceptional communication and stakeholder management abilities.

·       Candidate having worked in projects related to  Process/Domain/Operations/Project Engineering/Maintenance knowledge in Manufacturing Process industries, Power plant, Chemical Process Industries or Pharma Industry, will have added advantage.

·       Candidate should have knowledge on the overall Engineering lifecycle of product development.

·       He / She should understand either on Python, Visual Studio, SQL software, HTML5, Selenium.

·       He / She should have Good Knowledge in Cloud (Azure/AWS) services.

·       He / She should have Good Knowledge on Virtualization (VMWare)

·       Having CEH Certification & performed cyber security testing, will be added advantage.

·       Exposure to Test and Requirement Management Tools such as JIRA, Xray would be an advantage.

·       Solid communication and collaborative skills

·       Knowledge of various programming languages such as Java, Python, C# etc.

·       Experience with HTML and CSS

·       Advanced knowledge of CI/CD

·       Knowledge of Page Object and Page Factory patterns

·        

Preferred Skills:

·       Experience with cloud-based testing environments.

·       Knowledge of DevOps practices and CI/CD pipelines.

·       Familiarity with performance and security testing.

• Bachelor’s degree from an accredited institution in a technical discipline such as the sciences, technology, engineering or mathematics
