*WE’RE HIRING FOR TATA ELECTRONICS LTD* JOB DESCRIPTION FOR CNC SETTER: FOR TATA ELECTRONICS *COMPANY APPOINTMENT HOSUR TN* *VMC MACHINING PROCESS OPERATOR* Job Purpose: The person in this role will be responsible for a group of CNC machines. She/He will be responsible for setting the part, coordinating with NPD/ CAM programmer for proving the new parts. She/he will also be responsible for solving the issues related with cutting tool, fixture, process, and program. Job Duties and Responsibilities: • *Hands on experience with VMC Machining process and cutting tools*. • Knowledge about cutting parameters (cutting speed and feed) • Ensure that machines are running with optimum resources • Resolve any issues related to setting up of machine and fixtures • Knowledge in fixture concepts, clamping methods and machining process • Hands on experience in operating controls (Fanuc etc.) • Insert program instructions into machine, change/ modify programs when necessary to start operation. • Inspection of first cut and in-process parts for conformance to requirements. • Knowledge in GD&T and measuring instruments • Minimise any downtimes/losses • Coordination with fixture/CAM programmer/tooling engineer • Maintenance of fixtures • Addressing the problem in line (fixture and cutting tool) *Educational Qualifications required:* *ITI/Diploma in Mechanical Engineering* Experience required: ITI / Diploma in Mechanical Engineering with 4+ years of relevant experience Any specific knowledge, skills or abilities needed: Persons having experience in modern CNC machine shop, knowledge of cutting tool and machining process are preferred. *NOTE : 4 AXIS VMC MACHINES EXPERIENCE REQUIRED*
