Job Description

An SBI Unit Manager's job involves managing a specific unit or department by supervising staff, overseeing operations, and ensuring performance targets are met. Key responsibilities include recruiting and training a sales team, like insurance advisors, developing and executing sales strategies, and monitoring productivity to achieve business goals. The role also focuses on customer relationship management, upholding brand image, and ensuring compliance with regulations.

  • Sales and Business Development:
  • Recruit, train, and mentor sales agents, such as insurance advisors.
  • Develop and implement sales strategies to achieve targets.
  • Focus on and develop various business segments.
  • Team Leadership and Performance:
  • Supervise and manage the performance of a team.
  • Conduct performance evaluations and identify training needs.
  • Hold regular team meetings and performance reviews.
  • Operational and Administrative Management:
  • Oversee the daily operations of the unit.
  • Ensure all performance and productivity targets are met.
  • Manage budgets and contribute to operational planning.
  • Customer and Brand Management:
  • Maintain and build customer relationships.
  • Ensure high-quality customer service is delivered.
  • Uphold the bank's brand image and ensure compliance with all regulations.
