Sales Officer – Job DescriptionPosition OverviewA Sales Officer is responsible for generating sales, building strong customer relationships, increasing market reach, and ensuring the achievement of monthly and quarterly sales targets. This role involves field visits, retailer/dealer management, market development, and coordination with internal teams to drive overall business growth.

• Key ResponsibilitiesIdentify and develop new customers, retailers, distributors, or B2B clients.
• Achieve assigned sales targets and expand market coverage.
• Visit markets regularly to promote products, take orders, and ensure proper product placement.
• Maintain strong relationships with retailers, distributors, channel partners, and key accounts.
• Execute sales strategies, promotional schemes, and campaigns at the field level.
• Monitor competitor activities and provide timely market intelligence.
• Ensure product availability, timely order booking, and follow-up for payments.
• Handle customer queries, complaints, and provide appropriate solutions.
• Prepare daily/weekly/monthly sales reports and share insights with the management.
• Coordinate with the supply chain, warehouse, and finance teams for smooth operations.
• Conduct product training and support merchandising activities as needed.
