Safety Officer

● Conduct site safety assessments and risk evaluations specific to precast wall construction activities.

● Implement and maintain safety protocols, emergency procedures, and site-specific safety plans.

● Monitor on-site work to ensure compliance with legal and organizational safety standards.

● Conduct safety induction and toolbox talks for all workers, subcontractors, and visitors.

● Ensure proper use of PPE (Personal Protective Equipment) by all site personnel.

● Identify unsafe acts or conditions and recommend corrective/preventive actions.

● Investigate incidents/accidents and prepare detailed reports with root cause analysis and corrective actions.

● Coordinate with site engineers, contractors, and management to promote a culture of safety.

● Maintain safety documentation, inspection records, permits, and training logs.

● Ensure compliance with local statutory safety regulations (e.g., Factory Act, Building & Other Construction Workers Rules).

● Assist in preparing site-specific Method Statements and Job Hazard Analyses (JHA).

Qualifications & Experience:

● Diploma/Degree in Engineering or Science (preferred)

● Certification in Industrial Safety from a recognized institute ADIS

● Minimum 3+years of safety experience in construction, preferably in civil infrastructure projects

● Knowledge of relevant local safety regulations and codes

● Proficient in preparing safety reports, risk assessments, and incident documentation.

● Strong communication and leadership skills

● Fluency in Hindi, Marathi and Little English is desirable.

Preferred Skills:

● Familiarity with precast concrete handling, lifting, and erection safety

● Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced construction environment

● Good organizational and observational skills

● Conflict resolution and decision-making abilities Working Conditions:

● Full-time site-based role at Boisar, Palghar, Maharashtra

● 6-day work week (as per project requirements).
