Job description : Hydraulic Engineer PVS Grab Lift is a well-established organization engaged in research, design and development of a wide assortment of Material Handling Equipment,hydraulic scrap and metal shearing machines for various industries. In the last two decades, we have manufactured and commissioned our products in various parts of India and Africa which are running successfully. Primary Products : Scrap Shearing Machine, Hydraulic Hot & Cold Billet Shearing Machine, Beam Straightening Machine & Fit-Up Assembly for Railway Plant, Orange Peel Grab Bucket, Hydraulic pusher, Hydraulic press, reconditioning of old & used EOT & Gantry cranes Secondary Products : Prefabricated Shed & structure, pollution control devices As a Mechanical cum Hydraulic Engineer, you are responsible to Design and Development of hydraulic shearing equipment, create CAD models/ manufacturing drawings, BOM for sub-systems used in shearing equipment and to ensure the quality of drawings produced by Design Engineers. Responsibilities : Design the capacity, structure and power pack required for hydraulic machines. Creation of BOM / ECN for release of drawings for production Perform design calculations for design verification Develop sub-system designs and make component selections Creative thinker in designing hydraulic circuits,know servo fundamentals and how to select the appropriate valves / pumps to meet specification Perform engineering related activities like supplier interaction, field visits Provide engineering support to sourcing / production teams. Keep up to date with the latest technology trends. Communicate results and ideas to key decision makers. Creative thinking should lead to applying Patents for the Company You have a university degree in Mechanical engineering / civil engineering or another relevant field (or equivalent) and between 5-10 years of experience into Hydraulic Engineering Design and Development. You have a solid track record of designing, developing Mechanical/Hydraulic engineering solutions. You can assume yourself in an environment who Designs the hydraulic system of a complete machine, including selection and sizing of components. Manages system design calculations and specifies the hydraulic components to meet application requirements. Troubleshoots hydraulic systems in own / outside application area. Helps individuals and teams to grow within own technical area. Monitors the latest developments of technology, legislation, and requirements in the field of hydraulics. Performs detailed analysis of hydraulic systems on own products and products from other divisions and advises on improvements. Selects hydraulic components with comprehensive consideration of performance, cost and service. Should be well accounted International standards (ISO), IEC and ANSI for symbols, devices and components. Should have very good understanding on hydraulic component symbols and can logically combine them whenever required. Should have knowledge of ISO drafting standards for hydraulic circuits. Should have basic knowledge of electro-hydraulic interfaces and systems. Should have exposure to Auto Cad andHydraulic software tool as an added advantage. Good knowledge of Hydraulic fluids. Good understanding on working principle for various hydraulic components like Servo, Proportional Valves, Manifolds, Cylinders, Motors, Pumps, Accumulators etc. Good ability to work within the team You fit into a dynamic and fast-moving team within a business which has been around. You possess the ability to comprehend complex technical concepts quickly and focus on priorities. Experience in Heavy Duty hydraulic system designs space with exposure towards material handling and shearing machine and presses is regarded as a merit. The ability to understand and write in English, as well as the willingness to travel, are prerequisites in this job.
