Assistant Vice President

Job Description

Position Title, Responsibility Level - Principal QA consultant or AI/ML and Data Testing Consultant

Function - QA

Employment Type - Permanent/Contractual

Location - W221 – SCIO Chennai, TVH Bellicia Towers

Essential Functions

  • Develop and Implement QA Strategies: Establishing quality objectives that align with the company's goals and creating policies to ensure consistent quality across all phases of the product lifecycle.
  • Leadership and Team Management: Building and leading a team of QA professionals, fostering a culture of continuous improvement
  • Automation: Implement automated testing frameworks for ETL pipelines and AI/ML models
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Working with other departments to integrate quality assurance measures throughout the business.
  • Driving Continuous Improvement: Continuously evaluate and improve QA processes and methodologies to enhance product quality. Focusing on continuous QA improvements and using appropriate testing tools.
  • Mentorship: Provide guidance and mentorship to junior QA team members, fostering a culture of quality and continuous improvement.
  • Risk Management: Identifying potential quality issues and implementing preventive measures.
  • Metrics and Reporting: Gathering and presenting testing metrics and activities to key stakeholders.
  • Data Analysis: Using data to drive quality improvements.
  • Problem-Solving: Identifying and resolving quality issues.
  • Communication: Effective communication with clients and stakeholders

Primary Internal Interactions

  • Interaction with the Overall Product Manager for RCA & improvements in the testing process
  • Assessment meeting with VP & above for additional product development features.

Primary External Interactions

  •   Communicate with onshore stakeholder for status updates
  •   Help the Product Management Group understand the testing process & strategies used
  •   Client Interactions to better understands expectations

Skills

Technical Skills

Required Skills: Proficiency in QA methodologies, test automation tools, and scripting languages (e.g., Python, Java).

Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to identify and resolve complex quality issues.

AI/ML Knowledge: Strong understanding of AI/ML algorithms, frameworks and data processing techniques.

Tools: Automation Tools namely SELENIUM & Cucumber

            Defect Management Software 

Servers Knowledge: 

Skills Nice to Have: Agile Lifecycle Experience

                                  US Healthcare Knowledge

                                  Certifications in SDLC & STLC

 

Process Specific Skills

Delivery Domain – Product Testing – Including Feature Testing, Integration and Regression Testing.

Proven leadership experience, with the ability to mentor and guide QA teams.

Business Domain - US Healthcare Insurance & Payer Analytics

                                  Care Coordination & Care Optimization 

Soft Skills

  1.  Understanding of Healthcare business vertical and the business terms within
  2. Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to effectively collaborate with cross-functional teams
  3. Ability to work with various stakeholders across various geography 
  4. Excellent Team player, with the ability to build & sustain teams

Working Hours

General Shift – 11 AM to 8 PM

Will be required to extend as per project release needs

Education Requirements

Master’s or bachelor’s degree from top tier colleges with good grades, preferably with an Engineering background.
