Mechanical engineers and Diploma in Mechanical Job Responsibilities: Supervision: Assist the Construction Supervisor in overseeing and supervising painting and coating activities on construction sites, ensuring that work is carried out efficiently and according to project specifications. Quality Control: Monitor and maintain the quality of painting work, ensuring that surface preparation, paint application, and coating meet the required standards and adhere to safety regulations. Material Management: Manage the procurement, storage, and proper usage of painting materials, including paints, coatings, and equipment. Ensure an adequate supply of materials to avoid delays. Safety Compliance: Promote and enforce safety practices on the construction site, including the use of personal protective equipment (PPE) and adherence to safety protocols. Conduct safety briefings and ensure a safe working environment. Documentation: Maintain accurate records and documentation related to painting activities, such as daily reports, work progress, material consumption, and safety incidents. Prepare reports for the Construction Supervisor as needed. Team Coordination: Collaborate with the painting team, including painters and other construction workers, to ensure that tasks are distributed effectively, and work is completed on schedule. Problem-Solving: Assist in troubleshooting and resolving any issues or challenges related to painting work, such as equipment malfunctions, material shortages, or quality concerns. Report any significant issues to the Construction Supervisor.
