Job Title: Business Development Head Roles and Responsibilities:  Responsible for demonstrating new account development within assigned territory and/or strategic market segments.  Define, develop and execute growth plans to attract new and emerging customers in collaboration with executive team  Manage the entire sales cycle to include: Research/lead generation, initial contact and qualification, relationship development, proposal development, negotiating and closing new opportunities.  Directs, establishes, maintains, and plans the overall business policies, goals, tools and practices for a business development department.  Develops specific plans for each customer together with Business Unit Managers, sales team and operations.  Manages business development talent pool including Business Development Managers, Business Development Analysts and Project Coordinators  Account management of customers on an ongoing basis with full responsibility for account management, retention and growth of designated customers.  Work closely with senior level management to develop and implement effective sales strategies in order to meet new sales goals.  Manage customer RFQ’s from point of proposal thru contract award.  Develop and maintain account overview of current and potential customers.  Develop strategies and solutions for contract negotiations.  Coordinate customer relationships between internal and external teams.  Effectively prepare and deliver sales presentations.  Develop and manage sales forecasts/budgets.  Candidate must be motivated, team-oriented and creative.  Excellent oral and written presentation skills.  Proficient in PC software applications including strong Word and Excel skills.  Keeps Corporate management informed of market conditions such as pricing, material interruption, competitor activities, and technology trends and change.  Possess exemplary work ethic, ambition and a highly competitive nature.  Exhibit a true passion for growing business, working with people and winning. Requirements:  BE / Btech is required, MBA preferrable (Or Any other degree with relevant experience)  15+ years of experience in EMS manufacturing environment in a business development, M&A, marketing and leadership roles  Previous P&L responsibility and proven record of growing profitable business and customers within EMS markets  Detailed knowledge of at least one end item market to include high level customer relationships in that market  Excellent understanding of complex system level sales and operations  Strong ability to plan at both strategic and operational levels  Comprehensive knowledge of manufacturing philosophies, operations, processes, and related technologies work location : coimbator tamil nadu
