Job Description

1. On-Site Technical Support:


  • Attend client site visits to troubleshoot and resolve issues related to desktops, laptops, printers, scanners, and peripherals.
  • Install, configure, and maintain Windows OS, software applications, antivirus, and basic networking.
  • Diagnose and replace faulty hardware components (RAM, HDD/SSD, SMPS, motherboard, etc.).


2. Networking Support:


  • Basic troubleshooting of LAN, switches, Wi-Fi routers, IP addressing, and connectivity issues.
  • Setup and configure network printers and shared devices.


3. Customer Coordination:


  • Interact with customers to understand complaints and provide timely technical solutions.
  • Provide updates on job status, pending issues, and estimated completion time.
  • Maintain good customer relationships and ensure service quality.


4. Documentation & Reporting:


  • Maintain service reports, call logs, and installation records.
  • Update service team on pending issues and escalate complex problems.


5. Field Work Management:


  • Travel to multiple client locations daily as per service calls.
  • Ensure tools, spare parts, and documentation are carried during field visits.


Required Skills:


  • Strong knowledge of desktop/laptop hardware
  • Windows OS installation & troubleshooting
  • Basic networking (LAN, IP, router setup)
  • Printer installation and troubleshooting
  • Good communication and customer handling
  • Ability to work independently in the field


Qualification:


  • Diploma / BE / BSc (Computer Science, IT, Electronics)
  • 1–5 years of field support experience
