Field Engineer

Roles & Responsibilities:

Provide on-site installation, configuration, and support for desktops, laptops, printers, and other IT hardware.

Perform basic troubleshooting for hardware, software, network, and connectivity issues.

Install and update operating systems, antivirus, and applications as per company standards.

Coordinate with the IT helpdesk to resolve user incidents within defined SLAs.

Support LAN/WAN setup, network cable checks, and assist with router/switch configurations under guidance.

Ensure timely maintenance, including system health checks, patch updates, and backup support.

Maintain service logs, documentation, and update daily activity reports.

Provide end-user support for email setup, login issues, application errors, and access requests.

Assist in asset management, tagging, and inventory tracking of IT equipment.
