Project Manager

 *Key Responsibilities*

 * *Project Execution:* Manage day-to-day site operations for highway construction, ensuring alignment with approved alignment plans, drawings, and MoRTH (Ministry of Road Transport and Highways) specifications.

 * *Contract Management:* Oversee the execution of EPC/Item Rate contracts. Manage contractual correspondence, draft precise technical justifications, and handle variations or deviations.

 * *Liaison & Coordination:* Act as the primary point of contact for independent engineers, authority engineers, and government departments (e.g., NHAI, State PWD, Highways Department).

 * *Delay & Claim Management:* Proactively identify project bottlenecks (such as land acquisition delays, utility shifting, or site encroachments). Draft formal requests for Extension of Time (EOT) and handle compensation/bonus claims.

 * *Quality Assurance & Safety:* Maintain zero-compromise standards for quality control and work-zone safety. Oversee the installation of critical highway safety infrastructure, ensuring conformity with Indian Roads Congress (IRC) guidelines and international testing standards (e.g., MASH compliance where applicable).

 * *Resource Optimization:* Lead equipment planning, material procurement scheduling, and labor management to optimize project cash flows and minimize idle time.
