Job Description

Job Title: Consultant - Destination Services

Location: Chennai

Experience: 2-6 years


 

Summary Description

This position provides a high level of client services by helping the client settle into a new location and ensuring excellent customer service to the client.


Job Responsibilities

· Developing and maintaining strong working relationships with internal and external clients

· Make initial contact with the new assignee within the required timeline

· Do a preview trip of sample houses, schools, hospitals, etc. for the client prior to showing them to the Assignee

· Set an appointment with the client to initiate the services, and meet the client in a timely manner to understand the requirement of his/her needs

· Ensure requisition form for property search giving details of the kind of property required is sent to the Real Estate team

· Take the assignee on a home search based on the requirements given in the NAQ

· Communicate the scope of assignment and reiterate service delivery approach to the assignee in the process managing expectations.

· Interact with realtors to fix an appointment with them to show the Assignee the property, based on the listings given by the Real Estate team / Realtors.

· Once the client makes his/her decision about the property, interact with the realtor to ensure appropriate repairs and painting to be done prior to the Assignee’s move in

· Interact with Realtors, Account Managers, Relocation Managers and the property owners and the HR to ensure optimum commercial and lease negotiations in the favor of the account.

· Follow up lease signing, check disbursement, registrations and property hand over.

· Collect relevant property documents by coordinating with the realtor/landlord

· Conduct lease negotiations with the landlord and understand the terms and conditions stated

· Ensure lease agreement is prepared according to the specifications using the standard company lease draft and also according to the specifications of the landlord

· Ensure two copies of the lease are printed on stamp paper, signed by the assignee/company and the landlord

· Ensure that one original lease form is given to the assignee/company and another original lease form is given to the landlord

· Ensure that painting and other repair work and maintenance work that was agreed upon is completed on time

· Ensure all applicable utilities such as the gas, telephone, internet, television (cable), etc. are connected preferably before move in date, if it is within the scope of the assignment

· Take the client on a city orientation trip and provide a thorough introduction to the city, if within the scope of the assignment.

· Ensure accuracy of detail and data integrity

· Help the client get membership in appropriate clubs as desired.

· Provide appropriate support in obtaining school admission for the assignee’s children if required, by helping to shortlist and visit the school with the client to meet the Principal

· Answer any queries that the client might ask and provide whatever assistance the client requires within the scope of the assignment

· Ensure prompt and appropriate resolution of any issues and/or problems initiated by clients and/or assignee’s, and keep supervisor aware of issue and status

· Ensure timeliness, and accurate resolution of the job as per scope of assignment

· Answer any queries that the client might ask and provide whatever assistance the client requires within the scope of the assignment

· Complete a detailed report after each visit with the client and ensure appropriate information is included

· Explain the entire steps of the process to a new hire and take them on visits with clients as part of their orientation and training

· Provide business leads received through client reference and any other reference; provide Formula Services information to the lead to close

Education Requirements

· Bachelor’s degree preferred
