Senior Manager - Supply Chain Finance Operations

Operational Excellence

  • Highlight the ability to lead, motivate, and mentor teams, fostering a culture of continuous improvement and operational excellence in Supply chain financial activities.
  • Demonstrated ability to streamline processes, optimize workflows, and implement efficiency measures to enhance overall operational performance.
  • Proven track record of identifying operational bottlenecks, analyzing root causes, and implementing effective solutions to drive continuous improvement.
  • Experience in maintaining high-quality standards, ensuring compliance with regulations, and implementing quality control measures to meet or exceed industry standards.
  • Ability to maximize resource utilization, whether it’s human capital, technology, or budgetary resources, to achieve operational goals effectively and efficiently.
  • Proficiency in defining, tracking, and analyzing key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure and drive operational success, ensuring alignment with organizational objectives.
  • Strong leadership skills to motivate teams, foster collaboration, and cultivate a culture of operational excellence across departments or teams.
  • Experience in managing change initiatives, guiding teams through transitions, and fostering adaptability to embrace new process or technologies seamlessly.

Risk, performance, and analytics

  • Proven ability to identify potential risks within operational processes, conducting comprehensive risk assessments, and developing mitigation strategies to minimize their impact.
  • Experience in creating and implementing risk mitigation plans, ensuring operational continuity while proactively managing and reducing potential threats.
  • Ability to develop contingency plans for various risk scenarios, ensuring the team is prepared to respond promptly and effectively to unforeseen events that could impact operations.
  • Strong understanding of industry regulations and compliance standards, ensuring operational activities align with legal requirements, and actively managing risks associated with non-compliance.

Stakeholder management

  • Skilled in managing relationships with key stakeholders, both internal and external, effectively communicating risks, collaborating on risk management strategies, and maintaining positive relationships to support operational objectives.
  • Proficient in establishing monitoring mechanisms to track identified risks, providing regular reports to stakeholders, and adapting strategies as necessary to address evolving risks. 
  • Proven capability to collaborate across different departments or teams, integrating risk management practices into operational processes and fostering a risk-aware culture throughout the organization.
  • Utilize data analysis and insights to make informed decisions regarding risk management strategies, continuously evaluating and refining approaches based on performance metrics and trends.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills to convey complex operational information in a clear, concise manner to stakeholders at various levels within and outside the organization.
