Telecaller – Job Description
Position Overview:
The Telecaller will be responsible for making outbound calls to potential customers to promote products or services, gather customer feedback, and secure sales. The role requires excellent communication skills, a persuasive personality, and the ability to handle a high volume of calls efficiently.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Outbound Calling:
• Make a high volume of outbound calls to prospective or existing customers.
• Introduce and explain the products or services offered by the company.
• Generate leads or direct prospects to the sales team for follow-up.
2. Customer Engagement:
• Engage with customers to understand their needs and respond to inquiries.
• Provide detailed information about products, services, pricing, and promotions.
• Build rapport with customers to foster trust and loyalty.
3. Sales and Conversion:
• Persuade customers to purchase products or services, meeting daily/weekly sales targets.
• Handle customer objections and provide compelling responses to close sales.
• Process orders and manage customer accounts.
4. Data Entry and Record-Keeping:
• Maintain accurate records of customer interactions, including call outcomes, in the CRM system.
• Update customer databases and follow-up with leads as needed.
5. Customer Feedback:
• Conduct surveys or gather feedback on customer satisfaction.
• Escalate any customer complaints or issues to the relevant departments.
6. Collaboration:
• Work closely with the sales team to identify opportunities and provide support where necessary.
• Participate in team meetings and contribute to the development of sales strategies.
Qualifications:
• High school diploma or equivalent (Bachelor’s degree is a plus).
• Prior experience in telecalling, customer service, or telesales is preferred.
• Fluent in [specific language(s) depending on region/requirement].
• Excellent verbal communication skills.
Skills:
• Strong persuasive skills with the ability to handle rejections.
• Proficient in CRM software or call management tools.
• Good listening skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to work independently and in a team environment.
